#1 - July 2008 Sejic Cover Part 1 of 3 Sara visits the Curator’s shop, and is followed in by a guy who’s been following her for a week. She tells him where to go and then leaves. After she’s gone the guy end up speaking to the Curator who gives him a blue stone on a chain. The guy is reluctant to take it but the Curator says he can bring it back if it’s not for him. Back at the station Sara does some research and finds out that her shadow is - an Irish immigrant named Michael Finnegan who’s a known associate of Jackie Estacado. Sara’s angry that Jackie’s using someone to keep an eye on her and Hope. Finnegan lets Jackie know that he’s messed up with Sara. After he rings off he picks up the pendant for a closer look, and starts to change. In Norway a young woman finds a pendant similar to Michael’s in a cave. She puts it on and also starts to change…# 2 - September 2008Sejic cover Part 2 of 3 Sara's giving Hope breakfast when a bloody Jackie turns up on her doorstep - the Angelus have been after him again. When Dani arrives to babysit he goes to find Finn but promises to see Sara and Hope again before he leaves town. Meanwhile, the bearer of the Ember Stone is on her way to New York. Jackie arrives at Finn's place and gets frosty reception. Sara and Gleason are asked to go and investigate reports that the abominable snowman is walking round New York. When they get to the location they find Jackie fighting the ice man and Sara realises it's Finn under the icicles. The Curator then appears and explains to Finn that it's his destiny to bear the Glacier Stone, and that he's now one of 13. He also say that the trinity will be broken. Just then sky fills with agents of the Angelus and the bearer of the Ember Stone shows up... #3 - November 2008 Sejic cover Keown cover Part 3 of 3 The showdown outside the Curator's continues with the Witchblade, Darkness, Angelus, Glacier Stone and Ember Stone fighting it out. Gleason demands an explanation from the Curator and he tells Gleason about 'the thirteen', and that one of the trinity is going to perish. Finn seems to have got the better of the Ember Stone, but she comes back stronger and knocks him out. The Ember Stone then tries to take the Angelus from Celestine but is banished by the light. Celestine then runs Jackie through and is going to finish her off when Gleason stabs her with the Blood Sword. This buys Jackie and Sara some time, when the Angelus turns on Sara Jackie grabs the sword and cuts her head off. Sara then heals Jackie, while the Curator gives the Blood Sword and a guide to the thirteen to Finn to help him fight against the Ember Stone. Broken Trinity: Witchblade - December 2008 Dani leaves to make it to class, and Sara takes Hope to see Jackie. They talk and then share a kiss. Sara wants to know what Jackie's really doing in New York, he confesses he's been teaching some of his old employees a lesson. Sara's not impressed but they part on good terms. Jackie pays his last visit before leaving town, and later Sara gets called to the scene and is left feeling severely disappointed. Broken Trinity: Aftermath - April 2009 Jackie's on his way to Cairo but on the way he bumps into some guys who're keen to get their revenge. It's looking fairly bad for Jackie until Finn shows up. He saves Jackie's ass and then quizzes him about life 'down the rabbit hole'. Jackie offers his limited advice and then Finn heads off, leaving Jackie to make it to Cairo. 'Lessons' |
