Crown Heights, part 1 of 3
The reporter Gretch (see #117) is pushing her editor to publish her story about Sara, but he won't publish without proof of Sara's abilities.
Sara and Gleason are called to a murder at a synagogue in Crown Heights. A witness claims to have heard something strange around the time of the murder. Sara and Gleason canvas the neighbourhood but nobody's willing to talk. They split up for a final attempt and Sara comes across Gretch following her around. Sara's trying to get rid of Gretch when she spots a light at a basement window. She goes to investigate and comes a cross a man and his monster...

Crown Heights, part 2 of 3
On closer investigation Sara finds the monster to be a Golem built out of mud by 3 local teens. She lets them go without taking any further action and then heads home, after receiving a call from the Forensics team.
Elsewhere, after class one of Dani's students comes to her for advice, over coffee she explains the problem and Dani agrees to help her and is surprised to receive a kiss in thanks!
The next morning Sara and Gleason meet with Forensics at the murder scene to be informed that fragments of horse bone and hoof prints have been found. They can't work out what's going on and as they're discussing it one of the boys Sara met the night before rushes in - one of his friend went back to the Golem and didn't come home, he's now been found dead.
They all head over there and the community liaison gets angry with Sara for not telling him what she'd found.
That night Sara heads back to the neighbourhood alone to see what she and the Witchblade can find out, watched by Gretch who gets a picture of Sara in full Witchblade armour. Just as Gretch is leaving she's confronted by a supernatural creature on horseback...

Crown Heights, part 3 of 3
The figure on horseback tries to attack Gretch, but Sara steps in. The rider says she’s been summoned to draw out Sara for ‘him’, and then disappears. Sara then leaves and tells Gretch to do the same.
The next day Sara goes to visit Mama Hosanna to ask her about the horse and its rider, she reveals the rider’s name is Marinette. She instructs Sara on how to summon Marinette and gives her the appropriate offerings.
That night Sara follows the ritual, watched by Gretch. Marinette appears and Sara tries to get some answers from her, but doesn’t get anything, and then Marinette disappears for good.
Gretch decides not to publish what she has on Sara, unsure whether Sara and the Witchblade are a bad thing.
Elsewhere Dani accompanies Finch to her boyfriend’s where she makes it clear that Finch is taking her things and leaving, or else…

Crown Heights - Epilogue
Sara's mad at not being able to bring the Crown Heights murdered to Justice. She's beating herself up when Dani arrives, in need of her help.  Dani explains what's happened and takes Sara to Finch's boyfriend's apartment.
Sara's furious but agrees to help Dani, seeing a way to solve both their problems. They plant the body and the gun in Corwn Heights and later Sara calls it in.
Sara's had enough with Dani Dani, telling her she never wants to see her again.

War of the Witchblades, part 1
Sara and Hope visit Julie in prison, bringing her up to speed on the latest in her life. Elsewhere Dani is introducing Finch to the Witchblade, but wants to take it slowly with any relationship, while the Angelus watches.
Back on the job Sara and Gleason are chasing a suspected peeping tom. At the same time Sabine, the rogue Angelus warrior, and the mystery villain are fighting over Sara, with Sabine determined to destroy her.

Gleason is waiting for Sara to arrive at the scene of the death of a number of agents of the Angelus. When she finally arrives she's moody and aggressive. After picking a fight with Gleason she storms out.
At Dani's apartment Finch is woken by the Angelus Force hovering over her. Dani and Finch go to see the Curator to try and learn more. The Curator explains Dani's half of the Witchblade is the 'light' half, Sara's the dark, and that Sara is now to far in the dark.
Meanwhile Sara has been found Tau'ma, and he continues his manipulation of her one on one. He convinces her Dani's half of the Witchblade is rightfully hers.
Dani has realised that she needs to take the Witchblade from Sara before it's too late...

Dani goes to Sara's apartment to try and find her, but just finds Gleason and Hope. He's not heard from Sara and wants to go out and look for her, Dani agrees to babysit while he does.
Just then Sara comes home, unable to remember where she's been. When she sees Dani she's angry, and when Dani ask for her half of the Witchblade she flips.
The two crash out of the window, fighting and arguing. Sara pushes Dani of the edge and she falls onto a neighbouring building. As Sara prepares to take the Witchblade she's pierced with a spear...

Julie gets released from prison, but Sara isn't there to meet her, she's about to be taken, with Dani, by Sabine and the other agents of the Angelus. Gleason, with Hope, is able to stop them, but is only able to keep Sara. He desperately tires to revive Sara, but she comes around thanks to the Witchblade. Despite Gleason's protests Sara's only thought is for finding Dani and getting the Witchblade, even when Gleason tries to use Hope to make her stay.
Dani wakes up surrounded by the agents, who want to help Dani find Sara so that the reunited Witchblade is on their side.
In his shop the Curator is visited by Tau'ma, who claims his time has come, and things will go his way. The Curator agrees that he will not be the one to stop the events now motion.

#129 - August 2009

People are starting to look for both Sara and Dani, including Julie who's arrived back in new York.
Dani and the agents of the Angelus track Sara down to the Brooklyn Bridge, which Sara has taken over. Dani confronts Sara and a fight ensues. As Dani's half of the Witchblade comes close to Sara's it begins to leave Dani, eventually becoming one again. Tau'ma then appears from the shadows and on his instruction Sara stabs Dani.
Meanwhile, back at Dani's apartment, Finch is visited by the Angelus and transformed...
