Cover War of the Witchblades, part 6 Gleason and Julie arrive at the Brooklyn Bridge, which has been cordoned off by the police. Inside Sara is about to finish off Dani when the Angelus appears and saves Dani, transferring from Finch to her. Sara and Dani then fight again, and Dani is able t snap Sara out of Tau'ma's spell. Dani restores the balance of the Witchblade and saves Sara. Sara then turns on Tau'ma, who vanishes into the darkness. Dani then clears the cocoon from the bridge and Sara joins Gleason and Julie outside. #131 - October 2009 Cover Just Like Starting Over Julie has moved in with Sara, and while Sara is out jogging she catches up on recent events with Gleason. Although Sara is back to normal it's clear that Gleason is worried about the future and getting past Sara's 'evil' phase. Elsewhere, Dani and Finch are leaving for New Orleans to see what the future holds for them. #132 - November 2009 Cover The Bridge, part 1 of 2 Sara and Gleason have got away for the weekend to Vermont to start rebuilding their relationship. The next morning Sara notices police outside a nearby school, they offer their help and find three children have disappeared in a month. There are tracks from the school but they disappear near a bridge in the woods. Sara and Gleason go back that night to look around the bridge, they split up and Gleason vanishes. Sara ventures under the bridge to look for him and is confronted by a huge troll... #133 – December 2009 Cover The Bridge, part 2 of 2 Gleason wakes up and find himself in a room with the missing children, before he can work what's happening Sara and the troll come through the door fighting. The children stop them fighting and it becomes clear that the troll is sheltering the children, they've run away because they're frightened of their school caretaker. Sara persuades the children to come back to the town with her and Gleason. Sara then pays the caretaker a visit, and that night takes him to the bridge. #134 – January 2010 Cover Almost Human, part 1 of 3 Sara and Gleason are called to the scene of a crime where the only evidence they have to go on are some unmarked casings and an eyewitness who reports seeing a green haired woman and a vanishing space-ship. Having exhausted all their contacts Sara makes a call a Samantha Argent (Hunter-Killer) who tells her the space-ship sounds like the work of a company called Cyberdata and gives Sara the address of their nearest facility. Sara goes to investigate and comes face to face with Aphrodite IV (seeWitchblade #119). Before Sara can get any information from her they're apprehended by two Cyberdata guards... #135 – February 2010 Cover Almost Human, part 2 of 3 Sara and Aphrodite deal with the guards sent to intercept them and Sara and learns who/what Aphrodite is and that she's there to kill a scientist, Dr Singh, who's stolen secrets from her parent company. Sara persuades Aphrodite to let her deal with the thief her way and they head deeper into the compound to find him. As they enter the research laboratory they're confronted by new foes.. #136 – May 2010 Cover Almost Human, part 3 of 3 Sara and Aphrodite have to battle with the the cyborgs created with the stolen information who seem to be upgrades on Aphrodite. Once they've done this they continue looking for Dr Singh but when Sara's back is turned Aphrodite knocks her out, refusing to allow any change to her mission plan. When Sara comes to she finds Dr Singh dead and Aphrodite gone. Elsewhere, Aphrodite returns to base to find no one home, but others are watching her and her skills. #137 - August 2010 Cover The Demon Within Abby van Alstine, the Necromancer, comes to New York on an art field trip. While at the Metropolitan Museum of Art she wanders into an off limits room and witnesses a naked man commit suicide, after which she passes out. When she comes round Sara and Gleason have questions for her. Abby tells Sara her story and reveals her ability to speak to the dead. She speaks to the suicide victim and find he was suffering from demonic possession and killed himself to escape. The demon Mali, who Abby unwittingly summoned in the past (see Necromancer #1 - 3), then returns. Sara fights Mali, and then Abby uses her magic to drive him away. #138 - September 2010 Cover Faerie Tale A fairy tale, written by Julie for Hope, telling the story of how the forces of good, the heroes of the Top Cow universe, manage to defeat the evilIrons and Nottingham. #139 - November 2010 Cover Remembrance Aphrodite IV has murdered Julie and Taken Hope. Sara is being assessed by a police psychiatrist to see whether she is fit to return to duty. The doctor approves her return. Gleason tries to help Sara by talking about the loss of his fireman brother Kevin on 9/11, but Sara just want to be left alone. She visits Julie's grave and and while she's there she spots Ken Irons' grave. Blaming the Witchblade, and Irons, for Julie's death she breaks into the mausoleum. As she's venting her anger Jackie appears, he's also been looking for Hope with no luck. He talks Sara round, saying she'll need the Witchblade to find Hope.
